YouTuber Award Applications​

What is the YouTuber award?
The YouTuber award signifies that you have contributed to the server via creating a video showcasing IonCraft on the popular video sharing site, YouTube. Players who earn the rank of YouTuber will receive a dark red asterisk (*) added to their in-game prefix, as well as a dark red "YouTuber" banner on the forums. There is no full in-game prefix.

Before you submit an application, please read the Requirements for Applicants below.

Requirements For Applicants

1. You must be a Citizen or higher to submit an application.
2. If your channel has more than 100 subscribers, you are only required to submit one video. If you have less than 100 subscribers, you must submit five (5) high quality videos with your application.
3. The video you create must showcase IonCraft, whether it be a cinematic trailer video, let's play, review, gameplay footage, etc. You must mention or display the server's IP ("play.ioncraft.org") at least once within the video and in the video's description.
4. The video(s) must be high quality. All we ask is that you put your best effort into it. It's hard to determine what makes a video high quality. It's more of a "you know it when you see it" guideline. The videos should have a minimum of 720p resolution. Please keep the title and video description professional as well.
5. You must direct, record, and edit the video by yourself. However, you may enlist as many players as you'd like to be in the video. Only the submitter may be awarded the YouTuber rank.
6. No plagiarism. Your work should be completely unique.
7. Videos that depict trolling, hacking, rule-breaking, or are intently malicious in nature are not allowed.
8. You may submit a video created before the date this thread was created as long as it complies with all of the Rules & Requirements above.

Requirements for Judges

1. Staff members and players who have been awarded YouTuber are automatically YouTuber Award Judges, and are allowed to approve and deny submissions.
2. In order to approve a submission, you must watch all submitted videos included on the applicant's application completely, and assess whether they followed all of the Requirements for Applicants.
3. You must take an unbiased approach when assessing videos.
4. To approve an application, reply to the applicant's thread stating that you officially approve their application. To deny an application, reply to the applicant's thread stating that you officially deny their application and explain why. You may only deny a video if it violates or does not meet a requirement listed in the Requirements for Applicants.

How to Apply
In order for your application to be approved, you must receive three approvals from a YouTuber Award Judge. Your application may be rejected if it violates any of the Requirements for Applicants or receives three denials from YouTuber Award Judges.
